This Virtual Instrument quickly and easily provides a fantastic sounding drone - useful not only for sound design work - but because each drone is accurately tuned to a standard key tonic, they can also be used in a musical context with other instruments.

Patches:

2 and 10 second loops: Each drone is a unique design with its own subtle internal modulations. A short loop allows these repeating patterns to be used to creative advantage. A longer loop is useful when using the drone sound on its own. Having two sets of independent drones also allows for massive stereo and surround sound effects!

Perfect Loop Process: Loops were designed using our PLP technique to ensure a perfect repeating pattern of subtle tonal variation, with no pops or glitches.

Envelope variation: Each Soundfont library contains 3 separate patches designed to give you a choice of fade in and fade out times when a drone is played.
